Frog Social Beta Terms of Service

By creating a Frog Social account, you agree to the following terms for the beta program:

1. Eligibility

Frog Social is intended for researchers, veterinarians, colony managers, and staff affiliated with academic or research institutions who work with aquatic laboratory species. Accounts are limited to verified institutional affiliates during the beta period.

2. Beta Program

• Frog Social is in active development. Features, data formats, and availability may change.
• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We may reset application data during the beta period with advance notice when possible.

3. Not Medical or Veterinary Advice

Frog Social provides structured intelligence tools to support husbandry decision-making. It does not replace professional veterinary care. All cases involving animal health should be escalated to qualified veterinary staff.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of observations, notes, and data you post.
• By posting, you grant Frog Social a license to store, process, and display your content within the platform.
• Do not post personally identifiable information about individuals, proprietary protocols, or classified research data.

5. Acceptable Use

• Use the platform for legitimate colony management and research support.
• Do not misrepresent your institutional affiliation.
• Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data.

6. Privacy

• We collect your email, display name, institution, and content you post.
• Data is stored securely and used only to operate the platform.
• We do not sell user data to third parties.
• Beta data may be used in aggregate to improve the platform.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misrepresent affiliation, or are inactive for extended periods during the beta program.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
